A Source of Hope for Vulnerable Groups in Balochistan, Says Senator Rubina Khalid
Senator Rubina Khalid, who leads the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), said that BISP is a vital support system for needy people in Balochistan. At a meeting in the LIEDA Conference Hall in Hub, she talked about how important the program is, saying that BISP brings real hope to those who need help in the province.
Benazir Income Support Programme Goal:
Helping the Disadvantaged; BISP aims to end poverty and improve the lives of marginalized and poor communities. Especially women, by building a strong social support system. This goal shows BISP’s commitment to making life better for the most vulnerable people in society.

A Complete Plan to Reduce Poverty; BISP’s goal is to fight poverty. Using different social support methods designed to make a difference in the lives of families who have always been left out and not had enough. BISP is changing to a better system to make sure everyone is included.

New Registry and Sign-Up Process
To help with this change, Benazir Registration Desks are now at the local government level to find families that were not in old lists and to add any missing details.
Here’s how it works:
Check If You Can Join the Survey:
People can see if they can join the survey and if they are eligible online at https://8171.pass.gov.pk or by texting their ID number to 8171.
Help Desk/Sorting Desk:
When you get to the Benazir Registration Center, go to the help desk. They will help people who can’t move well, moms-to-be, and older folks first. Bring your ID or your family member’s ID. If you got a Benazir Kifalat Programme. Give the letter to the person who checks your information. They will see if you’ve already been asked questions before. If you need to update your information. You’ll get a special paper to do that. You’ll get a special paper for a new set of questions. If you have a letter saying you can get help from a special program, you’ll be moved up in line for updating your information.
At the place where they type in your information. Give them your ID card. your family members’ ID cards, and the B-Form for all kids in your family. Make sure all ID cards have the right information about you in the big computer system (like if you’re married, a widow, or have a disability.

Letter about the BISP Kifalat Program
Give them a phone number that works and is yours. After they finish asking you questions, keep the paper they give you that says you’re done and leave the place. After completing the survey, you’ll get a confirmation text message from 8171 on the phone number you provided.
If you qualify, you might also get a letter about the BISP Kifalat Program.
You can find out if you’re eligible by going online to https://8171.pass.gov.pk or by going to the closest BISP Tehsil Office/BRC. There, you can talk to an Assistant Director or the appropriate BISP Officer to apply and check if you’re eligible.
