DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jul 04 (APP): The Director General of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zohra Aslam has directed that more BISP centers should be set up in the region so as to extend its benefit to poor women. Peshawar-Zohra Aslam, Secretary Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) during visit here Monday inspected the arrangement and disbursal of the stipend amounts to beneficiaries. She showed her satisfaction about the current systems but also pointed out that proper treatment’s from staff of BISP was required to deal with beneficiaries for a more respectful and supportive atmosphere.
Zohra Aslam pointed out in this context that BISP is serving 130,000 families directly. She further said that children of BISP beneficiaries are also being given educational stipends under ‘Waseela-e-Taleem’ initiative. Benazir Nashonuma Entitlement Programme has also been launched to handle malnutrition among children while;
He emphasized the need for starting more centers to enable BISP cover maximum population and at least one center established in each subdivision so that bunger of women can start benefitting from this program. She also called on Deputy Commissioner Dera, Mansoor Arshad and appraised him about the grant distribution process.
During the visit, Deputy Director (BM) South-Zone Shafi Ullah Kundi accompanied Madam Zohra Aslam.
It is anticipated that the construction of BISP centers would make program more effective by extending health and educational facilities to impoverished lot in Dera Ismail Khan.

The DG BISP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa gave the directives while visiting different BISP centers in Dera Ismail Khan on Thursday. She further visited different centers, inspected site arrangements and processes and take briefing where stipends are distributing to the beneficiary and expressed her satisfaction with the arrangements.
She finally urged the bisp staff to improve the behavior with the bisp beneficiary ladies as she further mentioned that “BISP maintains respect for our beneficiaries and to create more facilitation of respective atmosphere had the grounds to quit appointments.” The DG further added that at present over 130 thousand families are getting profits from BISP.
She applauded the over all performance of BISP and mentioned that in addition to BISP’s Waseela-e- Taleem, under Waseela-e-Nashanuma, Benazir Nashonuma Centers have also been established for anti malnutrition of child.
