LAHORE: Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz has issued E-bikes distribution date, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
Addressing the Punjab Assembly in Lahore today, she said that 10th July will witness electric bike distribution by the Punjab government.
She highlighted the achievements of her administration in first 100 days and said it was for the first time that a provincial government had not imposed any new tax on people, as Punjab presented an historic budget which include no one rupee worth (new) taxes.

آج لاہور میں پنجاب اسمبلی میں اظہار خیال کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ پنجاب حکومت 10 جولائی کو الیکٹرک موٹر سائیکلوں کی تقسیم کا آغاز کرے گی۔
اپنے پہلے 100 دنوں کے دوران اپنی انتظامیہ کی کامیابیوں پر روشنی ڈالتے ہوئے، انہوں نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ صوبائی حکومت کی جانب سے ایک تاریخی اور ٹیکس فری بجٹ پیش کیا گیا، اس بات کو یقینی بناتے ہوئے کہ پنجاب کے عوام پر کوئی نیا ٹیکس نہ لگایا جائے۔
The Chief Minister also unveiled the return of a laptop program with 10 billion rupees in funding and to enroll out-of-school children.
She said free medicines and treatment are given in public hospitals under Bahimat Bati Yojna, a scheme launched by her government.
She has listed out certain steps to help farmers like interest-free loans and subsidy on agricultural machinery.

It is worth mentioning here that on April 12, CM Maryam Nawaz had taken the initiative to distribute 20 thousand bikes under the Chief Minister Youth Initiative.
The goal of this initiative is to provide students an inexpensive method to access motorcycles and e-bikes through simple, painless monthly installment plans. The Samsung Finance template also will be available to female students at Rs 7,325 per month along with male students can pay the same price of the product on a monthly basis.
80% of the quota will be reserved for urban areas and to male students while 70% (male) and rest 30%(female student).
