What is Ehsaas Tahafuz Program?
The Ehsaas Tahafuz Program is a social safety net initiative to provide medical assistance and one-time cash grants in order to uplift the poor during its last year. This initiative will become part of the wider Ehsaas Program to provide financial and medical assistance to people who are left distressed due to COVID-19 or any other illness. The program was launched at Holy Family Hospital Rawalpindi by Prime Minister Imran Khan. Let’s discuss the Ehsaas Tahafuz Program.
At time of writing, this programme is operational in 14 tertiary care teaching hospitals and has been scaled up to include full provincial coverage for all four provinces including IslamabadJ&K.
Supporting the Poor Program Registration
Youm-e-Takbeer, the Ehsaas Madad plan has launched Its registration by Tahafuz Program. Every hospital involved in the program will have a reception desk for people to register and find out more. Armed with your IDENTITY CARD, you can now register.
How to Register
Ehsaas Tahafuz Program Criteria
You can check you eligibility by Sending your CNIC number to 8500. It is an addition to Nationally Determined Benefit Packages and Special Support Programs, designed for individuals or families who usually suffer from the disease related with the pandemicracovid-19. The number of family members also influences the cash grant—more than one child increases how much money a person receives.

- Those that die of COVID-19 or something else.
- Widow, orphaned & disabled persons.
- Families Facing More Than Just Financial Problems
- Dependables(Topic- Dependent financial pets)
- People out of work finding it difficult to keep up with the increasing cost of living.

HOW TO APPLY FOR EHSAS TAHAFUZ CARD IF YOU DONT HAVE SEHAT SAHULAT CARD:
Q: Eligibility Check – have you lost your job or are a widow, an orphan (with no parent), Physically Challengedeligibel for this Benefit?
Documents Needed: Get all documents ready which are :-
- Valid ID card
- Residency certificate
- Proof of disease
- Proof of monthly income
- Apply to: walk in person at a nearby hospital of your choiceareapplication formfillapply
- Assessment: Your application will be evaluated by government officials. If it successfully verifies, you will be given an Ehsas card as well a cash grant.
- Provision of EhsaasTahafuz for Protection through Registration with the EHsaaseKhidmatMarkaz
