Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has recently closed two prominent eateries and imposed a fine of a total 1.7 million on various food companies for violating food regulations. The inspections covered 1420 food establishments, which includes restaurants, cafes, and local shops.
Inspection and Enforcement
Director General of Punjab Food Authority Muhammad Asim Javaid reported an inspection of 21,000 kg of meat and 37,000 litres of milk in a single day.
