Describing Programme
In the journey of approval of this programme we encountered many difficulties; one of them was to increase the number of students in the process originally planned to give 4000 students; but the CM advised us to increase the number up to 25000 students. Scholarship will cover 100% tuition fees of BS degree students in government and a few private universities. Purpose of this increase is to open doors to more deserving students so that finances don’t stand as a barrier in the way of education.
Building New Universities
To make improvements in infrastructure, CM issues strict orders in creating new universities Jhelum, Vehari and Bhawalnagar. In this way students will have access to education in rural areas, challenging the geographical problems in education opportunities and dropout rates and bringing education to your doorstep.

CM is also planning to make deals with the public and private sectors. Believing in the resourcing and expertise of the private sector will strongly build up the education system in Punjab.
